They are back ! Le groupe rock psyché d’avant-garde allemand Agitation Free, formé en 1967 par Michael Günther et Lutz Ulbrich est de retour dans l’hexagone. C’est “Malesh” leur premier album qui les a rendu totalement cultes dès 1972.
Ces pionniers du krautrock – au même titre que Tangerine Dream, Amon Düül ou encore Guru Guru – viendront le 27 mars nous livrer leur musique en forme de fatras foutraque d’influences – musiques traditionnelles, rock psychédélique, musiques électroniques (synthétiseurs) et improvisations.
The psychedelic avant-garde German rock group Agitation Free, formed in 1967 by Michael Günther and Lutz Ulbrich, released it’s first album Malesh in 1972 – which became a cult album for every fan of this genre and was reissued in 2008. Their music stirs of traditional music influences (after a tour in Egypt, Greece and Cyprus), psychedelic rock, electronic music (synthesizers) and improvisations.
By 1970, they became an integral part of the Berlin rock scene, playing alongside krautrock pioneerssuch as Tangerine Dream, Amon Düül or Guru Guru.
